E-Brick panels are delivered ready-to-use. They are made up of a layer of insulating material, protected to be wind-proof and water-tight by a layer of extruded foam and finished with stone strips. 

The insulation panels are clad with hand made facing bricks, giving them a natural look that is indistinguishable from authentic façades with “complete” hand made bricks. 

The Vandersanden facing bricks are sawed into strips and corner strips approximately 2 cm thick. That gives them the same properties and qualities as the “complete” bricks.

The system is ideally suited for both renovation and new-build projects. Flanders’ ‘Energy Performance Policy’ legislation has resulted in more demand for insulation solutions.
Although that is not an insurmountable challenge in new-home construction, it is not quite as easy to insulate existing homes up to today’s standards. The E-Brick system can be mounted directly on top of an existing façade and lifts the insulation protection to an acceptable level, resulting in savings of up to 40% in heating costs.
